in time a nation of darkness
clouds adrift in the trees
i turn and say that the search
begun is now finished
to find our place where the stillness
remains are weeping
so i turn for a smiling face
the feeling that this year is yet behind me
sometimes that's when I fear
walking down the world floating in a place

serving tea to ravens oranges and pine cones
they seem to enjoy it who can really say
perhaps they indulge me it seems that way
